I am tired of having to press up and down buttons all the time. One thing I consider a minimum requirement for buying a radio, is having an easy way of navigating through its menus or changing values when needed. Not feeling safe for how long your product will last? Actual charging time is around 8 hours. A mAh battery, getting mA will charge at approximately 9 hours. After using this radio for more than a month, I can confirm the battery outlasts every other HT I have. Not even for radios that are more expensive than this one. TYT pays at least some attention to detail. The image below is without the speaker-mic which I removed from the box. The seller was also including a speaker-mic which they inserted in the original box.

Receiver performance is quite good.This update practically fixes an audio issue with the earlier model, which would occur after long periods of operation. Medium power is 22 watts and low power is watts. Some sloppy advertising attributes the versions with output power of 65 watts but it's actually 50 watts and mine and others all seem to meet that spec. So now it isn't programmable it's stuck with a minus offset yet won't transit the - offset, it won't restore it's self because the instruction are wrong.

I then had to download a photo copy of the English instructions which are as useless as the Chinese. I not jumping through the TYT loops to get it fixed, just not worth it. Spend the bucks for another Good radio but lasted less then a year and locked up. Pot in a headphone jack so now using headphones to under stand everyone. I used an external speaker on 3 of these radios andwhen i unpluged them all internal speakers didnt work. After changing the direction to plus the TX offset actually goes minus and I documented this with a video but I do not know where on the internet I can download it to so other hams can see it. Later i found out that the controller TX direction electronics must be wired up backwards. When you setup a minus TX offset it actually transmits plus. The control head electronics is bozo bizzare. This radio is pure garbage and wasted parts.
